What Is KPV?
KPV is a short peptide composed of three amino acids: lysine, proline, and valine. It represents the C-terminal portion of alpha-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), a naturally occurring peptide involved in several biological signaling pathways.
KPV has attracted research interest because studies have examined its interactions with inflammatory signaling and tissues such as the gastrointestinal tract and skin.
